MINDFUL LEADERSHIP TRAINING: Exim, Mind Matters collaborate to empower women

Dar es Salaam: Exim Bank Tanzania, through its Women Empowerment Program (WEP) under the Exim Cares initiative, has stepped in as the Platinum Sponsor of the ‘Mindful Leadership’ Training for Women.

This training brings together over 150 women leaders from diverse sectors, including business, education, and public service, with a focus on enhancing deep leadership, emotional intelligence, resilience, and creativity.

The training is being delivered in three phases: September 27th, October 4th, and October 11th, 2025. Each session includes practical exercises, peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, and guidance from leadership experts.

Speaking about the initiative, Exim Bank’s Head of Marketing and Communications, Stanley Kafu, said, “We are delighted to partner with Mind Matters in this important programme aimed at nurturing women’s leadership. Through WEP, we continue to create opportunities for women to build entrepreneurial skills, resilience, and emotional intelligence-key pillars that help them to transform their lives, families, and communities at large.”

The Mindful Leadership training aligns with Exim Bank’s long-term commitment to the WEP programme, which aims to reach over 600,000 women by 2028. The programme includes training, networking, personal leadership development, and business forums designed to equip women with the motivation, skills, and resources needed to thrive personally and professionally.
