ADA–TADEA presidential candidate promises inclusive govt

SINGIDA: ADA–TADEA presidential candidate Mr Georges Bussungu has pledged to form an inclusive government based on merit and competence rather than political affiliation, if elected Head of State.

Addressing supporters at a campaign rally held at the Old Bus Stand in Singida Municipality over the weekend, Mr Bussungu emphasised that his administration would welcome capable leaders from any political party, as long as they are committed to delivering meaningful development.

“Our leadership will not be confined to ADA–TADEA members alone. Anyone with the ability to serve the nation effectively will be welcome,” he said, underscoring the importance of recognising talent across the political spectrum.

Running under the party’s slogan “Freedom and Accountability: A New Tanzania of Prosperity, Justice and Peace,” Mr Bussungu also promised what he termed a “Yellow Revolution” a transformative approach aimed at freeing leaders from colonial mindsets and instilling genuine accountability in public service.

He further addressed concerns from local farmers in Singida, assuring sunflower, onion and lentil producers of stronger government support. He pledged to build small markets closer to production areas in order to reduce the costs of transporting goods to urban centres.

Meanwhile, Mr Bussungu’s running mate, Mr Ali Makame Issa, used the platform to caution against calls for demonstrations on polling day, October 29th this year.

He urged especially the youth to avoid incitement by what he described as “a few agitators with ill intentions for the country.”

Mr Issa also appealed for national unity, respect for the Union and acceptance of election results.

“Since leadership comes from God, ADA–TADEA will respect whoever is chosen in this General Election,” he said.
