Shule Excellence Fair, a unique academic innovation

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Excellence Fair 2025, held in Dar es Salaam this week, was a huge academic event for educators, parents, and students from across Tanzania.

According to its organisers, the maiden Shule Excellence Fair was staged to promote vital conversations about the future of education in Tanzania, with stakeholders agreeing that strong collaboration between schools and families is key to student success.

As suggested by Titus Patrice from Lord’s Hill School, parents must prioritize quality education when choosing schools for their children, emphasizing that the right learning environment can unlock every child’s potential.

Speaking at the Shule Excellence Fair 2025, held in Dar es Salaam, Mr. Patrice shared his school’s guiding philosophy: “No one was born to fail.”

He emphasized that every child is capable of achieving success if provided with the right tools and opportunities through proper education. “Every child deserves a chance to succeed,” he said.

“And that begins with access to a school that doesn’t just teach, but nurtures and delivers real results.” Mr. Patrice urged parents to make informed decisions by carefully researching schools that demonstrate strong academic outcomes.

He encouraged them to consider Lord’s Hill School, which is committed to academic excellence and character development.

The Excellence Fair 2025 brought together educators, parents, and students from across Tanzania to celebrate educational achievements and share ideas on improving academic standards nationwide.

During the event, Mr. Patrice also appealed to school leaders to uphold discipline and maintain high academic performance. While recognizing the value of infrastructure and extracurricular programs, he emphasized that academic success must remain at the core of any school’s mission.
