Speaking during the national Nane Nane celebrations at Nzuguni Grounds in Dodoma, President Samia acknowledged the bank’s efforts and ongoing support for farmers, especially through the provision of input loans. She also commended TADB for being the main sponsor of the annual event.
TADB Managing Director Frank Nyabundege thanked President Samia for her leadership and investment in agriculture, noting that the bank’s capital has grown from 60 bil/- to 442 bil/- under her administration.
“Our bank will continue to sponsor the Nane Nane exhibitions for the next five years, thanks to the increased capital that has strengthened our ability to support farmers,” Nyabundege said.
This year’s Nane Nane exhibitions brought together farmers, pastoralists, and fishers from across Tanzania to showcase innovations and share knowledge aimed at improving the agricultural sector.
