Former Premier Pinda to open eastern zone Nane Nane Fair

MOROGORO: FORMER Prime Minister Mizengo Pinda is expected to officially open the Eastern Zone Nane Nane agricultural exhibition, which will be held at the Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere grounds in Morogoro Region.
Morogoro Regional Commissioner, Adam Malima said on Tuesday that former Prime Minister Pinda, who also serves as the President’s advisor on agricultural matters, will officially open the exhibition on Saturday, this week.
Mr Malima said the exhibitions will begin on Friday prior to official opening the following day, noting that preparations for the exhibition are 98 per cent complete.
He added that the exhibition is expected to attract more than 80,000 visitors, with over 500 exhibitors showcasing their products and services.
According to Malima, this year’s exhibition will differ from previous years due to various improvements made, including resolving water challenges that previously affected exhibitors and service providers.
He said visitors will have the opportunity to receive special training on productive farming, modern livestock keeping and aquaculture to boost their incomes for sustainable social and economic development.
