Simba SC have officially secured the services of Ghanaian striker Jonathan Sowah from Singida Black Stars, following confirmation of the transfer by both clubs.

Sowah, who joined Singida in the January transfer window, made an immediate impact by netting 13 goals in a short span, quickly establishing himself as one of the most lethal strikers in the league.

Simba’s Communication Manager had earlier acknowledged the club’s strong interest in Sowah, citing his consistent performances and natural goal-scoring ability.

“Jonathan Sowah is a player we have been monitoring closely due to his quality and impressive form since joining the league. We believe having Sowah will add great value to our attacking force,” he said recently.

Meanwhile, rivals Young Africans have also made a key addition to their squad with the arrival of Malian midfielder Lassine Kouma.
