700 people listed as TAPA-HR set for Annual General Meeting

ARUSHA: THE Association of Human Resource and Administration Management Professionals (TAPA-HR) convenes its first Annual General Meeting from tomorrow, July 22nd  to 25th , 2025, at the Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC).

The high-level meeting is expected to bring together over 700 participants from various institutions across Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar. The primary objective of the gathering is to provide a platform for professionals to exchange experiences, enhance their skills, and engage in discussions on key academic and practical matters in the fields of human resource and administration management.

Speaking about the preparations, TAPA-HR Chairperson, Grace Meshy, stated that this year’s meeting will be held under the theme: “A New Direction for the Role of Human Resource and Administration Professionals in Driving Change Aligned with Technological Transformation.” The theme aims to highlight how professionals in the sector can contribute to modern changes driven by technological advancements globally.

The meeting’s Guest of Honour is expected to be the Chief Secretary and Secretary to the Revolutionary Council of Zanzibar, Engineer Zena Ahmed Said.

This conference presents a valuable opportunity for professionals to discuss strategies for improving performance, enhancing efficiency, and fostering collaboration to advance the human resource and administration profession in the country.
