30 nations to brighten 49th Sabasaba Trade Fair in Dar

DAR ES SALAAM: OVER 30 nations are expected to participate in the 49th edition of Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (Sabasaba), exactly 30 days before its official opening in late June.

The event that attracts domestic and foreign business and services firms is anticipated to boost the national economy through increased foreign exchange earnings.

This was revealed by Mohamed Nyasama, a Senior Trade Officer from the Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade), who highlighted that Sabasaba is the largest trade exhibition in the East African region.

Nyasama further noted that the exhibition will benefit local entrepreneurs and traders by providing an opportunity to learn from international counterparts. This interaction is expected to help Tanzanian businesses grow and expand their reach globally.

Additionally, he emphasized that the exhibition will offer ordinary citizens the chance to gain new knowledge about a variety of products and services from both local and international exhibitors, thereby broadening their understanding in different sectors.

The Sabasaba Trade Fair is expected to attract a wide range of visitors and participants, positioning it as a vital platform for economic growth and strengthening international trade relations.
