DODOMA: A total of 225 institutions are participating in the Public Service Week celebrations and exhibitions taking place at Chinangali Park in Dodoma, marking a significant increase from the 146 institutions that took part in the 2025 event.
Speaking during the opening ceremony today, June 17, 2026, Juma Mkomi, Permanent Secretary in the President’s Office – Public Service Management and Good Governance, said the increase reflects the growing commitment of public institutions to bringing government services closer to citizens.
Mkomi noted that the celebrations are accompanied by exhibitions showcasing various government activities and services, which will run until June 23, 2026. The exhibitions provide an opportunity for citizens to access services and obtain information from a wide range of public institutions.
He said participants include 26 government ministries, public institutions, executive agencies, public corporations, regional secretariats, and local government authorities.
