2022 AMPUTEE SOCCER WORLD CUP: Tanzania 0-0 Spain
Tanzania’s Tembo Warriors have shared spoils with Spain in their inaugural match of 2022 Amputee Football World Cup finals at TFF Riva Facility in Instabul, Turkey today.
The outcome is rather encouraging for the country’s envoys who are making their maiden appearance at the world cup stage of the contest.
Managing to hold Spain to a goalles draw is applausible and they just need to shift to the second gear aiming to generate a victory in their next match.
Coming up, Tembo Warriors face Poland tomorrow at the same venue in their second match of the campaign.
Poland lost 3-1 in their opening game against Uzbekistan hence making their follow-up fixture a must win duel or else will be officially eliminated.
On Monday, the Warriors will take on Uzbekistan in their group E last assignment meaning that the upcoming two straight games are essential for them to generate maximum points.
As it stands in group E, Uzbekistan lead the table with three points seconded by Tanzania and Spain with one point a piece while Poland tails the group without any point.
