Youths with disabilities encouraged to join National Service
COAST REGION: PARENTS and guardians of youths with disabilities have been encouraged to support their children’s participation in the National Service (JKT), as it provides them with opportunities to showcase their talents and abilities alongside their peers.
Coast Regional Commissioner Mr Abubakar Kunenge made the call during the graduation ceremony “60 Union” at the 832 Ruvu JKT in Kibaha District, Coast Region.
RC Kunenge praised the active participation of young people with disabilities in the parade and noted that they successfully completed all sessions and training over the three months, just like their peers.
“We have all witnessed how these young people have excelled in the parade and two of them were recognised for their outstanding performance in training. These achievements reflect our government’s commitment to ensuring that all young people have access to opportunities, regardless of their backgrounds,” he said.
