Young Africans President vows to retain key players
DAR ES SALAAM: Young Africans president Hersi Said has stressed that they will retain all key players ahead of next season.
He was speaking in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday when receiving a dummy cheque worth 537.5m/- from their sponsors SportPesa.
“Those we have and still want their services will not leave the club…this is the big task we have ahead of us,” he says.
Moreover, he revealed that they will make new signings to improve the current squad.

On his part, SportPesa Chairman of Board of Directors Tarimba Abbas said the donated amount is the acknowledgement of the team’s success last season.
“This is in fulfilment of the pledge we made at the start of the season that when Yanga reaches a certain milestone, we will be awarding them.
“For instance winning the Premier League and Federation Cup titles and their participation in CAF Interclub Games.
“We cherish our partnership with Yanga which has existed since 2017,” Abbas said.
