Yanga, Simba in clash of PL superwomen

DAR ES SALAAM: THERE are few days in the Tanzania Women’s Premier League campaign that feel as pivotal as the one ahead between Yanga Princess and Simba Queens.
It is crunching time as Yanga and Simba gear up for a showdown in their second league encounter.
The battleground is set at Azam Complex, Dar es Salaam, today, where Young Princess will be seeking redemption after their 3-1 first-round defeat.
Simba, who are currently topping the league with 31 points from 11 games, face-off Yanga sitting third with 24 points from the same number of matches.
Just like in the men’s league, rivalry runs deep in the women’s division, promising an electrifying clash at Azam Complex.

Simba Queens Assistant Coach, Mussa Mgosi anticipates a riveting encounter, stressing the importance of clinching the league title this season.
