DAR ES SALAAM: YANGA Princess Assistant Coach, Fredy Mbuna, addressed his team’s rocky start in the league, expressing confidence that they will improve.

After two away matches, including a draw against Alliance Girls, Mbuna is determined to address the challenges faced on the road.

“This league is very competitive. We have started with two away matches and in our match against Alliance Girls, we secured a draw,” he stated.

“We are going back to the training ground to identify the reasons behind our results away from home. I believe we will fix it.”

Mbuna remains optimistic despite the team’s performance, highlighting that “nothing is lost” as they have yet to suffer a defeat.

“The league is a long journey, with both home and away games. Everyone is still in the competition and our goals remain unchanged. These two matches will not deter us from our aim to win the championship.”

He also expressed satisfaction with the overall performance of the team in the past two matches. “In general, the team has played well. They have demonstrated that our preparations are starting to yield results,” he noted.

“We have never changed our goals each season and our objective remains the same: To win the championship.”
