DAR ES SALAAM: YOUNG Africans are optimistic about starting their campaign to defend the Tanzania Federation Cup as they face Copco FC in the third round at the KMC Complex today.
Young Africans’ head coach, Sead Ramovic, underscored that his team is prepared for the match. He stated that their focus is on retaining the title to maintain their dominance.
“Our main goal is to win this match and continue our journey to defend the FA Cup. We are fully prepared to face Copco, and we are determined to come out on top,” he said.
Despite their superior status, Ramovic was quick to show respect for their opponents.
“Copco is a strong team, and we will approach this game with extreme professionalism. We will focus on our tactics and ensure we win as many duels as possible,” he added.
He also addressed concerns about a few players dealing with flu symptoms, reassuring fans that they are expected to recover in time for the match.
On the other side, Copco FC head coach Lucas Mlingwa acknowledged the challenge of facing the defending champions but expressed confidence in his team’s preparations.
“We know it will be a tough game, especially against a team like Yanga with so much experience, but we have prepared well, and we will give our best performance,” Mlingwa said.
