DAR ES SALAAM: Women have been urged to participate in the forthcoming local government elections scheduled for Nov 27.
Head of Government Communication Unit, Ministry of State Office of the President (Regional Administration and Local Governments), Nteghenjwa Hosseah said women must need education and sensitization about the potential benefits of their participation.
Discussing the position of women ahead of the local government election during an online debate hosted by Daily News Digital, Nteghenjwa believes there are more benefits to the society when women are involved on the decision table.
