TIBA Conference to bring together Insurance stakeholders from across Africa
DAR ES SALAAM: Eastern, Western and Southern Africa regions are among of the stakeholders expected to participate in the forthcoming 8th Tanzania Insurance Brokers Association (TIBA) Annually Region Conference from 25 to 26 July this year.
TIBA President Mr Okoth Oloo informed Journalist in Dar es Salaam, early on Thursday that the event is expected to be well wished by the Commissioner of the National Insurance Authority, Dr Baghayo Saqware.
The event is expected to bring together insurance stakeholders within the countries and other citizens and will be heralded by the theme: Regulations are Catalyst for Growing’.
“ I would like to welcome Tanzanians, including insurance stakeholders from private company, banking sector to participate with TIBA as registration for event still underway until 15th this month….,the registration is done through our website”,he said.

Oloo also noted that noted that the conference will also cover various topics; including market stability, and regulation, while exchanging ideas on insurance operation from the participant’s countries.
On her part Event Organizer, Ms Anna Lema confirmed that preparations are going well while encouraging insurance stakeholders and Tanzanians to register for the event through the TIBA website.
Additionally, TIBA Secretary Mr Aliasaher Somji emphasized the importance of conference sponsorships in spreading education to the public on the benefits of insurance.
