TIB Development Bank bags accolade
ARUSHA: THE TIB Development Bank has been bestowed a special recognition certificate from the Office of Treasury Registrar recognising its contribution on sponsoring and participating in the CEOs and Chairpersons Forum 2025 in Arusha.
The iconic certificate was handed over to TIB Development Bank’s Board Chairperson, Mr Sosthenes Kewe who was accompanied by the bank’s Managing Director, Mr Deogratius Kwiyukwa during the forum at the Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC).
The certificate handing ceremony was presided over by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy, Dr Doto Biteko who officially closed the forum on August 26 this year.
TIB Development Bank, the country’s national development bank, continues to play a key role in supporting the government’s strategic sectors aimed at boosting production and creating employment.
The bank has invested in flagship projects including commercial agriculture, industrialization, tourism, renewable energy, as well as essential social services such as clean water, healthcare and education.
It has also been at the forefront of implementing government policies to drive industrial growth and strengthen the private sector by providing affordable long-term financing that enables local investors to actively participate in building the national economy.

The forum brought together over 650 participants including State Owned Enterprises’ (SOEs) CEOs and board chairs as well as academicians and other leaders in a range of sectors who shared knowledge and exchanged experiences regarding enhancing performance of the entities.
