Tanzania’s premier to address UNGA in New York

USA: Tanzania’s Prime Minister, Kassim Majaliwa, is scheduled to deliver Tanzania’s statement at the ongoing United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on September 27, 2024.

This will be the second time a Tanzanian Prime Minister has addressed the Assembly, following the former Prime Minister, Mizengo Pinda, who spoke at UNGA65 on the same date in 2010.

The Prime Minister is attending the 79th session of the General Assembly alongside various Heads of State and other high-level government officials.

The session was opened by UN Secretary-General António Guterres and will conclude on September 30, 2024.
