Tanzania deports Dr Stephanie, Kinokfu for breaching visa regulations

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Tanzanian Immigration Department has informed the public that two foreign nationals from Germany and the US have been deported for violating the conditions of their tourist visas.
The individuals are Dr. Brinkel Stefanie from Germany and Ms. Catherine Jannel Almquist Kinokfu from the United States. They were deported on October 13, 2025.

In a statement released today, October 14, the Immigration Department said:
“On October 13, 2025, the Immigration Department deported two foreign nationals from the country, namely Dr. Brinkel Stefanie, holding a German passport number C475MNGL, and Ms. Catherine Jannel Almquist Kinokfu, holding a United States passport number A80321764, after it was established that they had violated the conditions of their tourist visas.”
The Immigration Department has urged all foreign nationals entering the country for various purposes to strictly adhere to all the terms outlined in their visas or travel permits, as required by the Immigration Act Chapter 54 and its regulations. The aim is to avoid the disruptions caused by breaches of immigration laws.
