“Tanzania entrepreneurs had an opportunity to showcase various products to more than 4 million visitors from 77 countries that participated in the exhibition,” she said.
Ms Khamis said the products showcased during the exhibition included coffee, tea, cashews, spices, dry fruits, grains, handicrafts and many others.
The Gulf countries are namely Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
She said that the Expo 2023 which ran for 179 days in Doha Qatar started in October last year and ended last month.

“We used Expo 2023 to promote Tanzania tourist attractions in Zanzibar, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara National Parks that impressed visitors and pledged to visit them,” she said.
She said the Tanzanian team that participated in the exhibition was coordinated by TanTrade under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Tanzanian Embassy in Qatar.
