Swifpack resumes services after operational upgrades

DAR ES SALAAM: AFTER a temporary suspension for technical and operational upgrades, Swifpack, the digital transport and cargo delivery service owned by Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC), has officially resumed operations. The improvements aim to enhance service delivery and address current user demands in the transport and cargo sector.
Swifpack has undergone upgrades designed to increase system efficiency, strengthen security, and simplify usage for passengers, drivers, and business operators. These enhancements take into account previous challenges as well as feedback from service users.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam about Swifpack’s return, Ferdinand Kabyemela, TPC’s Director of Marketing and Sales, said the move is part of the corporation’s efforts to provide digital services that meet market demands and technological advancements.
“There have been major improvements in communication between drivers and customers, as well as in payment systems, aimed at increasing transparency and reducing operational challenges in both travel and cargo delivery,” Kabyemela said.

Additionally, the service emphasizes driver welfare by reducing operational deductions and offering access to health insurance, participation in social security funds, and affordable smartphone ownership programs.
Swifpack is now expected to deliver better services to its customers while improving working conditions for drivers and business operators using the platform.
