Stanbic bank expands private banking services to Arusha

ARUSHA: Stanbic Bank has officially unveiled its Private Banking Client Value Proposition (CVP) in Arusha, reinforcing its commitment to empowering Tanzania’s high-net-worth (HNW) individuals with world-class financial solutions.

Following successful Private Banking events earlier this year in Mwanza and Mbeya, this latest launch highlights Stanbic Bank’s strategic focus on expanding access to bespoke banking services beyond Dar es Salaam.

Through the offering, residents of Arusha will benefit from access to tailored financial solutions that reflect the region’s unique economic profile. As a hub for tourism, cash crop farming, and generational family businesses, Private Banking brings real value to individuals working hard to build lasting legacies.

The event in Arusha brought together a select group of Private Banking clients, entrepreneurs, and key stakeholders to explore how the bank’s suite of Private Banking services can help grow, manage, and protect wealth across generations.

Delivered under the theme ‘Ambition Never Stops,’ the event emphasized long-term financial planning, legacy building, and exclusive banking privileges tailored for Tanzania’s emerging elite.

Arnold Shirima, a tour operator based in Usa River, shared his experience saying that the service has helped him plan more strategically for the future of his business.

“As someone managing seasonal income, multiple bookings, and high operational costs, I’ve learned how to separate personal and business finances without compromising service quality or growth. With Stanbic’s support, I now feel more in control of my finances and better equipped to scale sustainably,” Shirima said.

He added; “Through expert advisory and structured financial planning, I now have a clear path for safeguarding my assets, setting up succession structures for my children, and ensuring that my contribution to this sector lives on. For the first time, I see these minerals not just as today’s commodity but as a generational legacy.”
