DAR ES SALAAM: Jwaneng Galaxy have safely landed in the country ahead of their CAF Champions League match against Simba on Saturday.
They have arrived through Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA) in Dar es Salaam on Tuesday, four days before the kick-off.
It is the duo’s last fixture of the group stage campaign with ASEC Mimosas the only side in Group B to reach in the last 16 thanks to 11 points in five games.
The remaining three teams each stand a chance to make it through if they generate maximum points in their upcoming fixtures.
If Simba win, they will claim 9 points in six games while waiting to learn the results between Wydad Casablanca versus ASEC Mimosas.
If Wydad Casablanca stamp success, they will have 9 points similar to Simba but the latter will advance courtesy of head to head rule.
In their first match in Morocco, Simba went down 1-0 while in the return leg at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in the city, the Reds recorded a 2-0 triumph hence head to head judgment will favour them.
Also, if Jwaneng Galaxy win, they will claim 7 points enough to drive them to the knockout stage if Wydad Casablanca succumb to defeat versus ASEC Mimosas.
