Ally said that the team endured nearly 24 hours of air travel, arriving in Algeria on Wednesday at 10:00 PM.
He noted that while Algeria’s cold weather contrasts with Tanzania’s warm climate; it will not be an obstacle for the team.
“The cold weather will not be an obstacle, as the human body takes about 24 hours to adapt to new climatic conditions,” Ally assured.
He clarified that arriving in Algiers 24 hours before the game was a deliberate strategy to adjust to the environment and finalise preparations.
Meanwhile, Yanga, the Tanzania’s representatives in the CAF Champions League also reached Algeria safely.
Yanga Media and Communication Manager, Ally Kamwe, confirmed their arrival, stating that the team’s journey from Dubai to Algeria lasted seven hours, with an additional four hours spent on airport procedures.
