MWANZA: Simba has continued to strengthen its position at the top of the NBC Premier League after defeating Pamba Football Club in a thrilling match held at CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza.
Simba’s only winning goal came from Lionel Ateba, who scored from a penalty kick in the 22nd minute, securing all three points for his club.
With this win, Simba now has 28 points, leading the league after playing 11 matches, ahead of defending Champions Young Africans (Yanga), who have 24 points from 10 games.

The league will continue tomorrow with several matches scheduled. Ken Gold will host Coastal Union, Mashujaa will play against Namungo, and Azam will face Kagera Sugar.
