Simba Queens top women’s league with perfect streak

DAR ES SALAAM: SIMBA Queens are on command of Women Premier League, sitting comfortably at the top of the table with a perfect three-straight winning streak.
Having played three matches, they have secured all nine points on offer by winning each game. Their flawless start puts them firmly in contention as early favourites.
JKT Queens follow closely behind in second place with seven points from three matches, thanks to two wins and a single draw. They remain unbeaten, showcasing strong form and proving themselves as formidable challengers in the league.
In third place, Mashujaa Queens also remain unbeaten with five points, having drawn twice and won once. While they are yet to lose, their tendency to draw has kept them a step behind the leading two, but their resilience makes them a team to watch as the league progresses.
A close battle emerges in mid-table, with Bunda Queens, Yanga Princess and Gets Programme each tied on three points, though goal differences set them apart.
Bunda Queens, currently fourth, have shown their stability by avoiding any defeats. They have recorded three goals for and conceded three in their games, keeping them just ahead of Yanga Princess, who sit fifth.
Yanga Princess have scored two and conceded two from their draws, trailing Bunda Queens on goal difference.
Gets Programme occupy sixth place, having drawn all their matches with an identical two goals for and against.
In seventh place, Fountain Gate have three points from a win, but two losses see them trailing the top half of the table. Their lack of consistency has impacted their standing early in the season.
Similarly, Ceasiaa Queens hold eighth place with three points, earned from a single victory offset by two defeats.
Alliance Girls are in ninth, with only one point from a draw and two losses, as they continue to search for their first win of the season.
Meanwhile, Mlandizi Queens find themselves at the bottom of the table, also with just one point, having drawn once and lost twice.
With the TWPL season still in its early stages, it remains to be seen how the teams will adapt and evolve. The fierce competition among the top three sets up an intriguing race, while those lower in the standings will be pushing hard to climb the table and avoid relegation risks.
