Simba back to face Mashujaa in Federation Cup match today

KIGOMA: Simba are back in domestic business as they face Mashujaa in the CRDB Bank Federation Cup at Lake Tanganyika Stadium in Kigoma today.

The winning side of the knockout fixture progresses into the quarter-finals of the competition that attracts at least 100 clubs.

So far, six teams have already qualified into the last eight phase of the competition which are Ihefu, Tabora United, Coastal Union, Namungo, Geita Gold and Azam.

The set of eight teams to battle in quarters will be completed tomorrow when Dodoma Jiji host defending champions Young Africans at Jamhuri Stadium in Dodoma.

The game is set to unfold under floodlights as it is scheduled to kick-off from 8:00pm.
