The injured MPs, according to Bunge, are receiving treatment at Benjamin Mkapa Hospital in Dodoma.
The 14th Edition of the EAC Inter-Parliamentary Games was scheduled to begin today (December 6, 2024) and will run until December 17.
The EAC-IPG was established by a resolution of the 4th EAC Bureau of Speakers in 2009. The games are held annually on a rotational basis among East African Community Partner States, aiming to foster relations between the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) and the parliaments of the East African Community region.
