ARUSHA: PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan is set to open the CEO Forum 2024, a working session for Board Chairpersons and Chief Executives of public entities for three days at the Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC) this week.
Organised by the Treasury Registrar’s Office, the forum aims to motivate and engage executives from institutions, organisations and government agencies.
The focus will be on ongoing improvements in management, operations and performance of public institutions, with an emphasis on exchanging experiences.
Arusha Regional Commissioner Mr Paul Makonda informed journalists that the meeting will commence with a session tomorrow and will be officially opened by President Samia on Wednesday. The forum is scheduled to conclude on August 30, 2024.
“This special visit by Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan brings numerous opportunities. Her efforts in promoting peace, stability and economic activities, including boosting tourism, have greatly contributed to Arusha becoming a hub for international and local meetings,” said Mr Makonda.

He also encouraged Arusha residents to come out in large numbers to welcome President Samia and to take advantage of various commercial and investment opportunities presented by the visit.
During the forum, a total of 248 Board Chairpersons and Chief Executives of public entities are expected to participate.
