Samia in Dodoma for AfDB-backed projects

DODOMA: PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan is expected to visit Dodoma Region tomorrow, June 14, 2025, to inspect the progress of the construction of the Dodoma Outer Ring Road, which spans 112 kilometers, as well as the Msalato International Airport.

During the visit, President Samia will be accompanied by the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr. Akinwumi Adesina. The AfDB is one of the major financiers of these strategic infrastructure projects.

Speaking today, June 13, 2025, Dodoma Regional Commissioner Rosemary Senyamule stated that the visit will begin in the areas of Mtumba–Veyula–Msalato and will conclude with President Samia addressing the public at Nala.

The Regional Commissioner has called on Dodoma residents to turn out in large numbers to witness the implementation of these major development projects, which aim to boost the economy and enhance transportation infrastructure to international standards.
