TANZANIA: PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan yesterday appointed Mr Majaba Shaabani Magana as the new Commissioner for Tanzania Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), and allocated Ambassador Gervace Kakele to Nigeria.
According to a statement released by the Directorate of Presidential Communications citing details from the Chief Secretary Ambassador Moses Kusiluka, before his appointment Mr Magana was serving as the Azania Bank Head of Corporate Customer Service Division. He is taking over from Ms Fatma Ayoub Mwinyimvua Simba.
Ambassador Kakele is replacing Ambassador Dr Benson Bana who has retired.
