Puma Energy affirms support for clean energy campaign
DAR ES SALAAM: Puma Energy Tanzania has affirmed its support for the country’s clean energy by opening more fuel stations across Tanzania.
Speaking during the launch of the new fuel station in Mbezi Beach in Dar es Salaam, today, October 17, 2025, the firm’s Managing Director, Ms. Fatma Abdallah, said the launch is a testament to their ongoing clean energy campaign that ensures Tanzanians have access to quality, reliable, affordable energy services that are easily accessible near their homes and daily activities.
She stated that Puma Energy Tanzania is committed to its core mission of empowering communities, and this new station stands as a true reflection of that commitment. It has been built specifically to serve residents of the surrounding areas, business operators, and traveller’s who use this major road — by providing high-quality, safe, and modern services that make their everyday lives easier.
“This investment is not just about providing fuel services; this station is a hub for integrated services. Through it, we have created employment for over 23 people, directly contributing to the local economy and the well-being of the surrounding community,” she added.
Alongside fuel refilling services, the station also offers various facilities including a convenience store with daily essentials, a pharmacy, and a modern garage for vehicle inspection and maintenance.
“We are proud to be a close partner of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania in implementing its agenda to ensure that energy services are accessible, safe, and of high quality. We firmly believe that access to quality energy services is a key pillar of social and economic development,” she said.
