President Samia reappoints Dr Mafumiko, Wassira

PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has reappointed Dr Fedelice Mafuniko as the Chief Government Chemist for the next five years.

His appointment will start effectively from April 3, this year, a State House press statement issued on Saturday says.

Meanwhile, the Head of State has reappointed Stephen Wassira to chair University of Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy governing board.

The appointment comes as Wassira completes his four-year term as the chairperson.

According to the The Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy Act, 2005, there will be a Chairman “who shall be appointed by the President.
