DAR ES SALAAM: President Samia Suluhu Hassan has ordered all ministers and their deputies to promptly respond to all queries in the Controller and Auditor General’s (CAG) report.
Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony held at the State House in Dar es Salaam on Thursday, President Samia emphasized the importance of addressing the CAG report swiftly.
She stated that the public should be informed of the government’s responses and the measures to be taken.
“Just a few days ago, the CAG submitted a report… I urge you all to work on that report and present your responses promptly. This will ensure that when parliament debates it, all concerns will have been addressed,” she emphasized.
Meanwhile, President Samia instructed the newly appointed Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office for Labour, Youth, Employment, and Persons with Disabilities, Mr. Deogratius Ndejembi, to coordinate special training programs for groups to enhance their employability or enable them to start their own businesses.
“I trust that you will work diligently with the youth, given that you are also a youth yourself, to manage all youth policies, as well as those pertaining to persons with disabilities,” she added.
