President Samia conferred Honorary Doctorate by Mzumbe University

MOROGORO: President Samia Suluhu Hassan has been conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Doctor of Leadership  honoris causa by Mzumbe University, marking a historic milestone as the first honorary degree awarded since the institution’s establishment.

The prestigious accolade, conferred during the university’s 24th graduation ceremony, was presented by Vice Chancellor Professor William John Mwegoha.

It recognizes President Samia’s remarkable contributions to society, earning her yet another distinguished honour under the noble cause of “honoris causa.”

This marks the sixth honorary degree for President Samia, who has previously been recognized by the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), the State University of Zanzibar (SUZA), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) of India, Ankara University of Turkey and Korean Aerospace University (KAU).
