OSLO, Norway: President Samia Suluhu Hassan has arrived in Norway today as she begins her visit to the Nordic country.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Norwegian Ambassador to Tanzania, Tone Tinnes, revealed this in a post on her X account, which was reposted by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation.
“Immense preparations at the Royal Palace today [Tuesday], ready to welcome H.E. Samia Suluhu Hassan to Norway,” she wrote on her X.
According to the Embassy’s website, Tanzania is one of Norway’s 10 partner countries for long-term development and supports Tanzania’s goal to become a middle-income country less dependent on aid.
The Head of State is visiting Norway just after concluding her visit to the Vatican on Monday, where she met and held discussions with Pope Francis, highlighting the existing good relations between Tanzania and the Holy See.
