DODOMA: THE Police have made a grim discovery in Porobanguma village, Chemba District, Dodoma Region, where six bodies were found buried following an intensive investigation.
Police Spokesperson Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) David Misime said in a statement that the investigation revealed the locations of the bodies after interrogating suspects, Nkamba Kasubi, a witch doctor and his accomplices Selemani Nyalandu and Said Msanghaa. The suspects disclosed six burial sites.
Among the victims identified are Seni Jishabi (28) from Porobanguma, missing since March 3, this year, Mohamed Juma (27) from Nyamikumbi A, Singida Region, who disappeared on May 15, this year. He was strangled and buried.
Others are Daudi Msanku (27) from Gawidu, Manyara Region, who went missing on May 27, this year. His body was burned and the ashes were stored in a bucket, Ramadhan Yusuph (26) from Kidika, Manyara Region, killed in April this year.

Tragically, the list of victims also includes two infants: Mwekwa Kasubi, a four-month-old child of suspect Nkamba Kasubi, killed in March 2023 and Maka Selemani, a two-month-old child of suspect Selemani Nyalandu, killed in June last year.
The police also found the body of 80-year-old Ramadhani Kilesa from Porobanguma, disposed of in Swangaswanga Game Reserve. Although Kilesa’s body was discovered on July 25, this year, it was only confirmed as a victim of the suspects on August 27, this year.
