DAR ES SALAAM: This Saturday, over 20 local food vendors will showcase their culinary talents at the grand Coca-Cola Food Fest in Dar es Salaam, drawing top chefs and food influencers from Tanzania and across East Africa.
The Director of Sales and Marketing at Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd, Fatma Mnaro, highlighted that the festival marks the grand finale of the Coca-Cola Food Fest Tanzania, a series of weekly Kitaa Fests that have been held since mid-September across Dar es Salaam and other major cities.
These events have offered local vendors and chefs an opportunity to display their skills, engage with the community, and increase sales.
The event promises attendees the chance to explore Tanzania’s vibrant food culture, with dishes prepared creatively and with flair.
Senior Marketing Manager at Coca-Cola Tanzania, Kabula Nshimo, emphasized that the festival is about celebrating culinary creativity and bringing people together through shared experiences.

The festival will also feature ‘Tanzania on a Plate,’ a showcase of the finest Tanzanian dishes from local vendors.
This event aligns with Coca-Cola’s global ‘A Recipe for Magic’ campaign, which celebrates the power of shared meals in connecting people.
The festival will also feature well-known chefs and influencers, including local favorite Diko by Monalisa and Dennis Ombachi, the Kenyan rugby sevens star, known as ‘The Roaming Chef’.
