Norland promotes natural health solutions to fight NCDs
DAR ES SALAAM: IN an effort to improve public health through safe and alternative approaches, Norland has continued to make strides in Tanzania by introducing natural herbal supplements designed to detoxify the body and boost the immune system by up to 100 per cent.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam recently, Norland Chief Executive Officer, Mr Benno Mwitumba, urged Tanzanians to embrace supplements made from natural ingredients, noting that the products not only alleviate symptoms but also address the root causes of illnesses.
“In our daily lives, we consume a lot of processed foods and synthetic medicines, many of which leave toxins in our bodies,” said Mr Mwitumba.
“This weakens our systems and makes us more vulnerable to frequent illnesses. That’s why detoxifying the body is vital to restoring good health and playing an active role in nation-building.”
He explained that Norland is committed to producing supplements that have been proven effective in countries such as China and the United States, particularly in combating noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) like diabetes and hypertension.

“Most health complications begin in the gut, where toxins accumulate and lead to other problems. Unlike treatments that address symptoms, our focus is on eliminating the root cause,” he stressed.
Approved by the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS), Norland’s supplements have gained popularity for their ability to boost immunity, improve digestion and help the body heal naturally without relying on harsh chemicals.
Mr Mwitumba praised the Tanzanian Government for creating a supportive environment for health innovation and expressed gratitude for Norland’s smooth certification process.
Norland is now expanding nationwide and has announced new opportunities for young people to become product agents.
Norland’s Chief Agent in Tanzania, Mr Samuel Ikongwe, said many Tanzanians have experienced positive results.
