Namungo wants to finish among the top 4 sides in the PL

MWANZA: NAMUNGO FC Assistant Coach, Shadrack Nsajigwa said their utmost goal in the ongoing Premier League is to finish among the top four teams.
Speaking in an exclusive interview recently, Nsajigwa said the quality of his team gives him hope of achieving their goal of finishing the league season in the top four positions.
He said that their strategy is to ensure they win all their nine remaining matches of the second round to achieve their team’s desired goal.
‘’Still, our goal is to finish in the top four positions, and if you look at our points, we are not far because one of the top sides on the current league log has 30 points which can be reached and surpassed as we have a difference of seven points’’ he said.
The former Yanga and Singida United tactician unveiled that they will take the two-week break to strengthen their squad, including fixing some of the shortcomings they had witnessed in their previous matches, including the two consecutive defeats against Yanga SC and Singida Fountain Gate.
“I still think we can achieve our goal if we change and start getting good results in these nine games we have left,” he said.
However, Namungo FC midfielder Pius Buswita said that as a team they will do whatever it takes to fulfill their team’s goal of finishing in the top four positions in the league standings.
In the Premier League standings, Namungo FC is in ninth place with 23 points after 21 outings. The team has won five, drawn eight and lost eight matches. Namungo has scored 17 and conceded 19 goals.
