MOROGORO: At least fourteen people were confirmed dead, and seven others sustained injuries on Tuesday night when a minibus collided with a truck in the Mikese area along the Morogoro–Dar es Salaam Road.
According to reports from the scene, among the deceased were eight men and six women.

Morogoro Regional Commissioner Adam Malima said the collision resulted from the truck driver’s failure to take precautions while overtaking another vehicle.
The RPC added that the rescue operation has been completed, with the bodies of the deceased and the injured passengers taken to the Morogoro Regional Referral Hospital.
