More customers benefit from NMB digital campaign

DAR ES SALAAM: NMB Bank has awarded 100 customers 10m/- cash prize through its ongoing three months campaign aimed at encouraging the use of digital platforms.

The NMB Bank’s Magomeni Branch Manager, Ms Mary Marungi said in Dar es Salaam at the weekend that the 100 winners in this draw bring the total number of weekly prize recipients to 900 out of the expected 1,200 over three months since the launch of the campaign last October.

“The campaign aims to align the community with the pace of technology with a focus on making purchases and payments using NMB MasterCard, mobile payments (QR Code), Point of Sale (PoS) terminals, online payments, as well as transactions at petrol stations, supermarkets and various retailers,” she said.

She said the three-month ‘NMB MastaBata Halipoi’ campaign, which offers various prizes worth 350m/- will also award 30 end-of-month winners whereby 15 winners each receive 500,000/- and 240 instant winners who receive 50,000/- each.
