Earlier, Mr Ally briefed the Second Vice-President that the ministry had observed a significant improvement in this year’s trade fair in terms of the number of participants and countries represented, describing it as Zanzibar’s premier international trade exhibition.
He said the ministry had this year decided to include institutions under its docket in the trade fair to enhance public access to the services and opportunities they offer to both sides of the Union.
Among the participating institutions are the Dr Salim Ahmed Salim Centre for Foreign Affairs, the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) and the Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC).
The Zanzibar International Trade Fare, which opened on December 29th last year, is scheduled to close on January 16th this year, at the Trade Fair Grounds in Fumba Town, on the outskirts of Unguja.
