DAR ES SALAAM: AS I&M Bank Tanzania celebrates the 50th anniversary, the lender has highlighted a legacy of innovation sustainability, philanthropy, and growth.
The well-attended event held in Dar es Salaam recently was presided over by the Group Executive Director, I&M Group PLC, Mr. Sarit Raja-Shah.
The customers and other financial sector stakeholders witnessed the inauguration of its new headquarter on Haile Selassie Road, Masaki, Dar es Salaam, marking a significant milestone in the bank’s ongoing expansion and commitment to providing exceptional banking services.
The new office, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, is designed to offer a modern, customer-centric banking experience. This launch significantly enhances the bank’s capacity to serve its customers efficiently and effectively.
The celebration featured memorable speeches from key representatives, reflecting on the bank’s journey and its contributions to the Tanzanian economy.
The Bank also feted its customers in a recognition ceremony, acknowledging the loyal clients who have been integral to the bank’s success.

The event was the culmination of the Bank’s anniversary celebrations that have been marked in Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda in honour of the remarkable journey from its inception to becoming one of East Africa’s leading financial services providers.
