“We conceded an early goal due to a mistake that we should have avoided.

Although we fought hard to equalise and take the lead, it wasn’t enough,” he said.

He praised his team’s resilience and fighting spirit, highlighting their strong performance in the second half.

“I’m proud of how we equalised and managed to take the lead.

Corazon Aquino’s performance was exceptional and the team’s determination was evident.

However, we fell short in the final moments of the game,” Mgunda added.

He also thanked the fans for their support throughout the tournament and promised to continue working hard.

“We will keep striving to achieve our goals and fight for the third position in the next match,” he concluded.

On the other hand, Police Bullets assistant coach Hussein Habib commended his team’s performance and resilience.

“We knew it would be a tough challenge against Simba Queens, but our players showed incredible determination and composure under pressure,” he said.

“Even when Simba Queens took the lead, we maintained our focus and pushed forward, which ultimately paid off.”

Habib highlighted the victory as a testament to the players’ hard work and dedication.

“I’m delighted with how the team executed our game plan and secured a spot in the final.
