DAR ES SALAAM: A group of gynecologists from Kenya toured Kairuki Hospital in Dar es Salaam on Tuesday as part of a medical tourism initiative.
Led by the Kenya Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society (KOGS) President, Dr Fredrick Kireki, the delegates, who are in the country for a two-day medical tour, were welcomed by the Kairuki Hospital’s acting Director General, Dr Muganyizi Kairuki.
Dr Kairuki emphasized the importance of Kairuki Hospital collaborating with KOGS in various areas, including health and research within the East African region.

In his remarks, the KOGS President thanked the management of Kairuki Hospital for hosting them, noting that the delegates learned various things from their Kairuki counterparts, including the “PATIENT FIRST” motto.
While at Kairuki Hospital, the gynecologists had the opportunity to observe how the non-surgical tumor removal equipment works.
They also learned about the new and advanced services provided by Kairuki Hospital, such as tumor removal without surgery using the HIFU machine, as well as the in vitro fertilization service offered by Kairuki Hospital Green IVF.
