Mbeya tightens security heading to the General Elections

MBEYA: THE Mbeya Regional Police Force has received four new Robur Armored TLC 300 vehicles, as part of an allocation from the Inspector General of Police (IGP).
Mbeya Region becomes the first in the country to receive these vehicles, which have been provided to strengthen security and public safety.
Speaking shortly after receiving the vehicles on October 23, 2025, Mbeya Regional Police Commander, Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police (SACP) Benjamin Kuzaga, expressed gratitude to the IGP Camillus Wambura and the President of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, for providing the essential equipment that will enhance the protection of citizens and their property in the region.

Commander Kuzaga emphasized that the vehicles will be fully utilized in detecting, preventing, and responding to crime within Mbeya Region. He also pledged that the police will take good care of the vehicles to ensure they serve the intended purpose as envisioned by the Police Force and the Government.
