Mashujaa aim for six top Premier League positions

MASHUJAA FC Head Coach, Abdallah Mohamed ‘Baresi’ has said their utmost goal in the ongoing Premier League is to finish among the top six teams.

Speaking in an interview recently, Mohamed said they will work to fulfill their goal, asking players to follow his instructions on self-training before returning to camp on today.

He said he is satisfied with the results of the second round that his team is getting.

‘’I admit we still have a tough test to ensure that we get good results so that we can finish in the top six positions; with the team that we have I believe it is possible,’’ he said.

The former Ndanda, Tanzania Prisons and JKT Tanzania gaffer also said that despite the good work they did in the matches of the second round, he noted mistakes in the defence, explaining that before the resuming of Premier League he will rectify the mistakes in the defence.

He said that in spite of not having a good start, he is satisfied with results, but the area that has to be improved is the defence.

“I issued instructions to players and I believe that each one will pay particular attention to personal training and get rid of the pleasures that take away their strength,” he said.

He promised to train hard for the purpose of winning the remaining matches.

Mashujaa FC are now placed 12th in the ongoing Premier League standing, after gathering 21 points from 21 outings.They have won five, drawn six and lost 10 matches. They have netted 18 and conceded 26 goals.

Mashujaa FC are now lined up for their Premier League match against Coastal Union on 12th April at Lake Tanganyika Stadium in Kigoma.

On 16th April, they will play against Azam FC at Azam Complex Stadium in Dar-es-salaam.

On 28th April, they will play against Singida Fountain Gate at CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza and on May 5th they will play against Young Africans at Lake Tanganyika Stadium.
