JKT alerts the public against fake institution’s websites, accounts

DODOMA: The National Service Unit (JKT) has issued a warning to members of the public who are opening social media accounts using the institution’s name, camps, or emblem, urging them to delete such accounts immediately.
According to a statement released by the JKT Headquarters Directorate of Information and Public Relations, there has been a growing trend of some individuals creating fake accounts using the name, logo, and camp names associated with JKT.
“Recently, some people have been opening fake accounts on various social media platforms using JKT’s name, logo, and colors, misleading the public into believing that these accounts belong to JKT,” the statement said.
The statement further noted that these accounts have been posting misleading information that causes public confusion regarding JKT’s operations and activities.
